Horseisle... a fun, interactive community, where players of all ages can play. You can compete in jumping, dressage, racing, and many more! You can train your horse, raise it to be the best, and roam around the amazing world of Horseisle! Personally, one of my favourite websites. I love it there. It can be a little bit tricky at first, so I have created a guide to help you. Please read it if you want help.
Here is a little (ok, big) paragraph about the history of Horseisle that I got from Wikianswers:
"Horse Isle was envisioned and designed by Joe and Miranda Durbin. Miranda grew up loving horses. Joe grew up loving to work with computers and wanted to start his own company. They noticed that there weren't many games out there for horse lovers that were in depth, challenging, and more involved than simple web pages. So together they created Horse Isle. Artists from around the world joined the project and contributed artwork, writing, and music. Miranda and Joe's family also pitched in. Mothers, sisters, and cousins started helping with beta testing, island design, character and quest creation. Now that the game has gone live many people help with continued development and moderating the game to be sure that Horse Isle continues to be a safe and fun place for everyone. "

When you first start playing Horseisle, you are taken to an Island called Welcome Isle. You may, or may not talk to a person in the hut who I think is called Welcome Willy. You will need cash to get to Earton, which is the main town on Horseisle. Go to the north of the isle, and you will see a big rock. Click on the wrench tool, and click dig, all around the rock. You should get $1000. Then, you want a horse. You can sometimes find players who are selling horses for really cheap, then find their names under players (the icon- I usually use the alphabetical button) click on the question mark. The horse may be under autosell, so you can buy it. Most of the time, the cheap horses are in the earton auctions, that look like trees, above the bank. Or if you want a horse for free, you can try to capture a wild horse. They are very rare. But before you can ride, you will need a full set of tack. You can get some at the gear shop in Earton, or from other players. If you want a horse right now, you can lease from the building that looks like a corral. You can lease a horse next to the apple tree, and above the cabins. Here is a map of Horseisle.
When you first get your horse, either by capturing or buying (read the wild horse section here for capturing) you need to buy some food, and some tack. As for water, you can let your horse drink from local ponds. For food, you need to go to the feed store, which can be found in most towns, or you can buy a pitchfork and gather hay, which can save you lots of money! The place to gather hay looks yellow, and looks, well, like a lot of hay on the ground. Just click and drag a piece of hay into the trough, and fill it up. Then drag one more piece when it's full to get a bale of hay.
For tack, either buy it cheaper from players, or from a gear shop. You must buy all of the tack- a saddle, a bridle, and a saddlepad. The cheapest are plain english tack. You must buy all of the pieces of tack to be able to ride. You may have your horses groomed by going to the trim shop, and shod, by going to the blacksmith. Wild horses can be caught on only grass, and only grass but sometimes on sand, and not near towns.
There are many kinds of wild horses. Here are the types: Arabians, Akhal-Tekes and Australian Brumbies can only be found in the desert; Norwegian Fjords, Icelandics and Exmoors can only be found on snowy isles; Mules are only in forests, and Pasos only in Jungle. Other breeds can be found randomly on any isle. When you run across a wild horse, a window will come up (first below), and when you go to capture it, another window will come up (a minigame- second below). You have to aim in front of the horse, and a little bit before the horse comes to you, click the mouse to throw the lasso around the horses' neck. Then, you should get your horse! Remember! You are given a time limit, so you would want to make the catch as soon as possible!

When you train, you raise up some of your horses' stats according to what training you do:
Speed: Earton
Strength: Appleton
Agility: Treeton
Endurance: Hotton
Conformation: Witherton
Whenever your horse bucks you off, you gain an experience point. Until your horse has 25 experience points, it will buck you off once in a while.
The tool bar when you load your horses picture looks like the picture below

This, is my horse, Tommy, or Tomillo Salvaje. He is a Norkier. Anyway, when you load your horses' page, there will be a few buttons that come up. MOUNT, FEED, TACK, PET, PROFILE, KEEPER, TRAINING, TRADING, and RETIRED.
Lets cover the top bar first, which is the one below.

To mount, simply click the MOUNT button. But before you click MOUNT, you need to have your horse fully tacked up. To find out more about tack, read the When you get a Horse section, under For Tack. Simply click the TACK button, and you'll see what tack you have in your inventory. Then, click SELECT for each piece. Once your horse is tacked up, you're ready to go riding! Use your arrow keys to ride.
If your horse gets hungry, then you need to feed it. Click FEED. A list of food that you have will appear and you can again, click SELECT to feed. If you need food, then read the When you get a Horse section, and then For Food. After you click SELECT, you horse will automatticly be fed.
If you need to tack your horse up, you click TACK. You will be taken to a screen of all of your tack. Click SELECT to select your tack.
If your horse is unhappy, then you need to pet it. Click PET, and your horse will get happier. But it will also lose some energy. No biggie. But if it gets really tired, then you have to go and rest your horse. Go to the building that looks like the barn, then, click rest.

This is in Appleton. In Earton, it is above the auctions.
What do you want others to see about your horse? Click on the PROFILE button to change what it says about your horse. Below is what it your horse's profile can look like: It's over to the right.
You can write anything you want here. You can change the colours by typing in:
[black], [brown], [grey], [silver], [red], [orange], [yellow], [green], [blue], [purple], [pink], [fuchia], [mahogany]. I think that is it.

Jumping
Jumping to some people may seem like a hard task to do, however its really not that hard. People often wonder if there are secrets to jumping, and yes, there SORT of are. To suceed in jumping, you would want to train your horse up in speed and strength, so that your horse is strong enough to go over the jumps, and fast enough to make it to the end in a quick time.
